I liked the interlocking letters on their helmets better than the logo they have now.

I like florida's orange unis and the LSU unis that they wore last year @ Arkansas.

Georgia has a good shade of red. Arkansas, Bama, MSU, and South Carolinas unis are ugly

Georgia's "Red" : Pantone # 200
Arkansas' Cardinal: Pantone # 200
It is the same shade of red and always has been.

Arky = Bama = Oklahoma = Indiana

But UnderArmour had to come in and bring "new age" uniforms.
They should have just added a UA to the jersey and made those more UnderArmour like.

We did and I never understood why. There was a rebellion of sorts. I don't think it got to the point where we had to fly banners or anything, but there is some truth in what you say.

The basketball team did use a darker red back then.
Some of the football jerseys were darker then as well. The worse was on of the Matt Jone's era nike jerseys that were maroon.
If you can find some color pics of Arkansas vs. Georgia back in the 60s you can really see the official school color shade of red is indeed the same.
