Auburn, and their current class of 2013 is stacked as frick.
The talent at AU is very high right now. If Frazier turns out well I think 2014 AU could make a run at Atlanta, I'd say next year 2013 could as well but the schedule is brutal.
Recruiting wise AU is recruiting on par with LSU and UA right now. The question will be the product on the field and coaching.
Ark has a lot of talent but Petrino was a very very good coach. I had them pretty much written in to make Atlanta this year and a run at an MNC, they made some great off season defensive moves and the offense is obviously strong with Davis in the back field. The potential is there for Ark to stay strong as well but that will depend upon this year and their coaching hire.
MSU is getting tougher under Mullen but I don't think he's the coach to take them to the next level. A&M is a team that if it ever realizes its true potential could rule the West but I don't see that happening soon.
OM has a long climb out of Nutterbation.

Really, though, this year the excuses have to stop
Saying that you're young, when you actually are one of the youngest teams in America, isn't exactly an excuse.

I think Arkansas falls a good bit. I know they have incredible talent, but losing a coach like Petrino HAS to hurt. Knile Davis is a beast, but it has been some time for him now since he last played. I think Auburn and Miss State have a good chance at taking the 3rd spot in the West.

It's not that he was a bad coordinator. It's that his philosophy on D was much different to Chizik's.
