Now link Scouts, ESPN, and 247 too. Your class will finish top 7, Aubie's will finish top three.
Maybe in 2/13 but how many will get in and stay in school? Look at there '09 and '10 classes.

I fear for State that once Mullen really get's them going he will bolt, no real reason to feel that way but it just does.
I can ensure you that this will not happen. If he was going to bolt he would have done it by now. He ultimately turned down the Florida job due to no interest because of his and his wife's love for Starkville. He showed no interest in the Penn State job which will be a premier position in the next 3-5 years. He wants to make State into a contender in the SECW and I firmly believe based on what he has said that he will not leave until that is accomplished.

Ms State is ready to challenge.

I would actually place Auburn in the best position to take over 2nd to be completely honest. I know LSU in more consistant but Auburn is one season removed from 14-0. They are more than able to pull out another one before the upcomming class graduates.

This year? Arkansas, no doubt.
Mississippi State and Auburn can easily be 3rd. A&M's potential is off the charts. Need to win though

Well I would say taking up 3rd behind Auburn and LSU, will be Arky or Bama.

He wasn't offered either job.

like I said he showed no interest in either job therefore he was not pursued.

Mullen will not stay at the #2 school in Ms. If he wins 8 or 9 games this year,he will leave given the chance to be at a school where he has a chance to win.

Never seen such a combination of good and awful posting in one thread.
Yeah LSU and Bama have been the best programs in the SECW for 5 years straight... AU just somehow got a natty in the middle of it
And before you all "lololol scam newton" just look at RG3. He was damn good but Baylor is still Baylor. Without the team around Cam, AU still loses to Bama and maybe one or two others.

1) arkansas just can't seem to get enough top notch players on defense. they are lights out on offense but i think their hold on #3 is very shakey
2)Auburn- its funny how their recruiting took a dive after the scrutiny following cam newtons recruitment. coincidence? long term history says no, they've been laying low. imo, they are the prime candidate to return to the #3 slot.
3)A&M- they might challenge Auburn but the reasons given about their presence in fertile recruiting ground does not hold water to me. they have always been in fertile recruiting grounds and most of the elite recruits have chosen other schools, even out of state schools. and , like auburn, when they have had strong periods with damn good teams, the ncaa has come in and discovered why.

It did? We've finished top 10 the last three years.

The move to the SEC gives us good advantages that we didn't have before. Now we can say "come here and you can play in the best conference and be on national TV, plus your momma/daddy can easily drive in from Houston/Dallas to see all your home games."
