Probably a toss-up between the Pigs and AU. Bama and LSU are going to finish third in the West at some point in the next five years.

I think Bama/LSU beat Auburn this year, and then the Aubie/Arky game is a toss up. It IS in JHS this year right? Don't be shocked if Auburn wins.

Auburn will be #3 out of the group for the next few years.

Lsu fans have convinced themselves that JJ was the sole reason they lost to Bama. JJ is the main reason you won on 11/5. LSU could not muster 20 yds between the tackles running. The LSU Oline was dominated in both games, but Jefferson was able to avoid the rush and scramble for positive yards on 11/5. Without JJ there is no option and no rushing yds to speak of.

Unless the LSU Oline got a lot better 11/3 will resemble 1/9.

Current - Arkansas
Immediate future(next 3-4 yrs) - Auburn
Longterm - A&M

A&M has no excuse to not win on an elite level longterm.

We are recruiting better and better, but it's still not on a level to consistently beat these teams. It is to a level to sneak up on them from time to time.

The next real step forward for MSU is a prolonged one that won't happen in a season or two, but prolonged sustained success, likely over at least 2 coaching staffs... We've made HUGE strides in fundraising, to the point that our private athletics donations takes a back seat to no one. We're still a LONG way behind facility and tradition wise...

Bama fans have convinced themselves that a good passing game can't beat them or open up a running game despite the fact that in 2010 that is exactly what happened in LSU vs. Alabama.

I take it you disagree. With 20/20 hindsight, wasn't that the case?

Sorry, I misread your post. You said CCG (conference championship game), not NCG (national championship game). I didn't read closely enough and thought you meant NCG.

I agree. My mistake on poor reading comp.

I've been saying something similar. They couldn't run against us without the option, and we won't respect Mett based off what he can do against other teams. We want to see him throw against Milliner/Lester. We want to see him throw against the different looks we will give him.

Their O-Line is obviously better with another year under their belts, but our Run D will barely drop off. It'll be a good game though.

No shite, because he pretty much was. The only thing he did well against Alabama the first time around was run the option. Alabama prepared for it during the second game and JJ had his ultimate "WTF" game to finish his career.

What you did against us in 2010 means nothing. That team was one huge clusterfrick.

This 2012 team will still live by Never Again. Saban and the people who were here for 09 and 10 will not let that happen again, and you're crazy if you think it will.

No, they really can't.

Sure UGA will beat Au, just as they have 4-5 years. And Yes A & M , Clempson and MSU could really beat Au. Will they? Doubtful but they are capable. What besides recruiting rankings makes you so sure Au is going to be so good? They have a new OC/DC which could be good, same or could be a fail. Return most of the same players who got dominated last year, lost the #1 Back and have a QB in Frazier that was terrible. They can improve and will some but don't go crowning them the next best thing.

Oh yeah, I threw that Au suckup line at you after you went at me becuase I didn't agree with you about Au's future.

No. aTm isn't on Aubie's level, MSU didn't improve as much as Auburn has, and Clemson only beat them last year because Auburn was young and didn't have a good DC to tell them how to fricking tackle.

I'm waiting for RickDaddy to come in and state LSU out rushed Bama and call me a Boy lol.

For some reason LSU fans think we stacked the box to stop the run, but that wasn't the case. With the 3-4 its not necessary to put 8 and 9 in the box to stop the run. Bama also did not blitz very much at all either. All the pressure came from 4.

If LSU can't run they will be placed in 3rd and long and that's when that Big un-athletic line gets exposed in pass protection.

Skip, Skip, Skip, your school can't scoop-and-score when in SugarBowl, can't score more than a FG when in most SECCGs, and with Broyles, Richardson, and McDonnell all drinking Ensure nowadays..

You better break out the Betamax and an old SWC tape, if wanting to watch Arkansas hoisting a trophy.

Apparently this year is different because of Mett.

We respected Lee and they couldn't really run on us in the first game until they started using the option.

Lee was leading the SEC in passing efficiency and he was a sitting duck behind that line.

Les Miles even said it would have been unfair to put him in against the rush in the second game.

That was with Chapman in the middle with a torn ACL all yr. Jesse at NT will be unfair.

They keep saying all the need from Mett is to be servicable, but Lee was better than that until Bama came along.

True, but let's just calm down and wait for the game. No need to argue, they'll resort to name calling when they don't have any real responses.

Seriously though, avoid flame wars.

Now link Scouts, ESPN, and 247 too. Your class will finish top 7, Aubie's will finish top three.

If we land a couple of guys that currently have us favored, I would argue with this
