As long as you are living vicariously through other teams, and not providing any proof that LSU isnt elite besides you're baseless opinion, im pretty sure it would be considered sand... from your little piggy vagina

Duly noted, My sig quote below been propping the Gators a lot longer than this thread. All those others pretenders can talk but it's been LSU and Florida since Y2K. If not for the Zookster.......

Honestly it is frustrating. It sucks that the Game of the Century was meaningless. That no one remembers or cares that Bama lost at home to an LSU team with horrible QBs. That LSU's season was far more impressive by every measure and it didn't matter. That Bama was likely the only team that could beat lsu and was allowed a chance to do it despite the presence of a one-loss big12 champ and despite Michigan not getting the sand courtesy in 2006. LSU was in the midst of an epic season and it was all for nothing bc the sec west division runner-up begged its way into the championship. The game of the century last year meant nothing so it's true that an lsu win on Nov 3, 2012 won't come close to redemption. V
That's the straight poop from a bitter butthurt lsu fan with a healthy dose of loathing for the gumps. Championship teams shouldn't lose at home to jordan Jefferson.

Jan. 9th was the straw that broke the camels back as far a wanting change in the system because only in CFB IS
12-1 beat 3 ranked teams , no divisional or conf title
BETTER THAN
13-1 beat 8 ranked teams, won the division and conf of the former team plays in
Everyone knew it was broke when LSU( the conf champ) had to beat Bama twice to be the Champs and bama( didnt win division or conf) had to beAt LSU once to be the champs. In a 2 game series that LSU never got to play at home.

Hard Question, it's a tough call between LSU and Florida IMO, I'd go with LSU since they have been more consistent.I'd put Alabama 3rd, even though we didn't do much from 2000 to 2007 we have still won two national titles in the last 3 years.
and no auburn you haven't won 2 national titles since 2000, I know you count 2004 but no one else does.

Yea and when talking about best program this or best program that National Championships have to be the number 1 factored then overall W/L in my opinion.

Even during Alabama's down years, I still don't remember thinking winning was a gimme. One year Saban said they were the best four and whatever team in the country. I agreed.

I guess LSU losing to Kentucky, yeah Kentucky, and Arkansas makes them one of the two best.
Luckily you guys started out the preseason ranked #3 or those losses would have kept you out of the NC game.
nah, actually winning the SEC, and having at least as good a record as every other single team in the country (besides Ohio St) got LSU into the NC...where they destroyed the #1 team in the nation.
Speaking of lucky, luckily alabama started out ranked number 1 in 2011, otherwise not winning your own division, much less your own conference, would have kept you guys out of the NC game.

This. Both won the National Title outright, but neither truly deserved to be there.
LSU won their division and won the best conference in america. Tell me who should have been there over LSU? There was no one in the debate that should have been. Va Tech finished 3rd...LSU beat them by 41 points during the regular season. Georgia was also 10-2, but did not play for nor win the conference championship. There was not a team more deserving than LSU out there. People can say what they want about Ok. St......and alabama....but for 2007 simply name a team more deserving?

Do you even read the posts? I haven't seen one person even come close to saying that. That is not the argument. You are terrible at this really. LSU was the national champion is '07. Period. The point is that team was not very good in terms of national champions. They were good enough for that season but they would hardly even compete in any season since that one. It was just a very down year in college football and LSU benefitted from being the best team that season. It's not like that doesn't happen every now and then. You still won a title and that counts just as much as the rest. What I was saying is Bama and Florida have put better squads on the field than LSU has in this decade. I'm not going off resume but if I was, LSU is probably the best because they are consistant. It's kind of a double edged sword though. Would you rather have three 12 win seasons with no title or one 14 win season follwed by two 8 win seasons?

If you want to be the BCS national champion, you have to win the BCS national championship game imo. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Actually I think 2007 was a good year for college football. There were a lot of good QBs which made for a lot of good offenses. 2007 LSU was wore down by injuries and admittedly the defense wasn't spectacular but there were a lot of dangerous teams that year which is why no team stood out.
Thankfully in 2007 the pundits still looked at a team's overall resume and not just quality of loss or eyeball test. With eyeball test it would've been USC v Georgia.

I'd rather have several 12 win seasons with 2 NC's and several SEC Titles, than 2 NC's and 1 SEC Title. Hey, that is just me though. Some people don't value SEC Titles, but then again, I can understand how an arky fan would have trouble putting a value on a SEC Title.....
