even though people usually stereotype tSEC and the south in general as a football only conference/area, we have put a lot of quality players into the NBA. there are a lot of players from the south also who didn't go to college or an SEC school (dwight, kg, etc)

We've got 4- Shandon Anderson, Jarvis Hayes (BEAST in college), Damien Wilkins, and Sundiata Gaines.

Ronald Dupree is not in the NBA anymore according to NBA.com. He hasn't been in the league for a little while.
Randy livingston is coaching in the D-League.

We have like four that were committed and skipped to the NBA
Other than that, all I know of is Eric Dampier and about ten people in Europe.

Walter McCarty - asst. at Louisville
Tony Delk - asst. at the University of Kentucky

Who claims the best (currently) player in the NBA?
Btw, Steele said that Israel seemed to be safer than B'ham.

Right now, couldn't tell ya. In a couple of years Thornton will be one of the best. Wall will be in the NBA next year though, so all bets are off.
