My favorite trip ever is to Ole Miss. Beautiful Campus and weather and partying in the grove is a lot of fun. Ive been 7 times but being completely honest we won all of the games I went to so I cant compare it to the atmosphere if we had lost. Alabama was a great trip as well even though the weather and campus are as pretty but the folks there were actually very nice to us.

College Station is easily better than Tusca fricking loosa Alabama. Good lord dude.

A&M campus looks like a fricking warehouse district compared to other SEC campuses

Gainesville is the worst to me, and I grew up in Florida as a gator fan. I didn't realize how bad it was, until I got out and experienced other schools. That being said I still have a lot of great memories in Gainesville.

Athens had a great town, and I had a great time there, but UGA fans are the worst in the SEC, in my opinion. Maybe it was just a couple of fans, but we were mistreated on multiple occasions. Now I mostly think of there fan base as a bunch of obnoxious, classless pricks.

Let me sum up this thread:

Alabama- Nothing great, nothing terrible (outside the fans)
Auburn- Not great, not terrible, people enjoy the stadium experience
Georgia- Most people rank this top or near top, but some people don't like the fans
Florida-lot of hate on gainesville. not sure why
Ole Miss- Alot of haters of the grove. Or should I use the phrase "over-hyped"
Miss State- Bit of both
Missouri- Most people haven't been
Arkansas- little rock...awful fayetteville...good
Vandy- nashville.
Tenn- Haven't seen a whole lot on this thread
Kentucky- nothing much
A&M- a few male student jokes, but pretty positive.

Don't even get us Arkansas fans going on Little Rock games. We'll shut the board down.

Besides, you know UGA fans. They truly believe their program is some moral beacon that's above everything as long as Saint Richt is at the helm

Read your and other AU fans' posts and tell me who is trying to claim the moral highground.

It's funny that LSU fans in particular seem to have so few issues with UGA fans. Probably because they talk a bunch of shite too and recognize it for what it is.

Meanwhile, the hypersensitive AU, USCe, etc. contingent bitches about those terribly mean UGA fans bullying them. Don't show up if it bothers you that much.

Such a piece of shite fan-base

Typical Aggie reasoning.

One drunk fan = shitty fan base.

I wish the SEC had never let these freaks in.

My vote would be for Gainesville (because of the cops and the fact that Gator fans seem to be meaner than most). That said, the Swamp is an awesome place to watch a game. College Station would be the runner-up. Their campus looks like it was designed by Stalin and the overall cult-like nature of their fan base is just too weird.

Best experience would be Auburn or Bama. Never been treated badly by the Barners, and Jordan Hare is my 2nd fave SEC stadium. For all of the supposed hate between us and the Gumps, their fans are consistently some of the nicest in the SEC.

You most certainly did have escalators, in the late 80's.

My least favorite was Gainseville but that was a road trip where I had no connection with the opposing fans. We kind of just wandered around and found our fraternities house but it was pretty lame that day.

My trips to Aub, Bama, USC, Georgia and even Vandy always have been to connect with buddies that are fans of that team and take me along for the ride. So they are always fantastic trips.

Miss St was pretty nice but I was in HS with my parents on that one about 12 years ago.

Really need to get to Ole Miss and LSU sometime soon.

I quit going to Athens years ago. Been too many times, and honestly not that interesting.

But it'd be great if you fricktards would quit showing up in Columbia every other year, then complaining when you get beat about how awful *we* are.

Seriously glad it's not a rivalry. Otherwise this would be ugly.

I was surprised how fun Columbia SC was. I was expecting the worst after reading about Y'all throwing that Clemson fans baby off the upper deck.

You probably won't recognize it now then. Starkville has changed so much over the years and we're now finally starting to see some substantial change.

As for tailgating, it is a different scene at UF. We don't have one large location where everyone goes, instead we are spread out from one end of campus to the other.

That's funny, at LSU we do have one large location where everyone goes, it's spread out from one end of campus to the other.
