Which SEC fan base have you had the best experience with at an away game?

I would have to say LSU fans believe it or not. Most all were very nice to my wife and I. Maybe it was because my wife is hot (no pics) but if you can handle the tiger baits being yelled every now and then it's really a great away game experience. Florida fans where by far the rudest and I have been to most every SEC campus. Where was your best away game fan experience?

I would say Kentucky or...believe it or not, Auburn

Auburn fans. Band parties on Friday night and late night after the game on Saturday. I even made it out of the student section unscathed.

UGA. Everyone was incredibly hospitable and responded well before and after the game to trash talk (2009). I was watching the game with a bunch of UGA students and immediately after the final whistle, a few of them came up to me and shook my hand and congratulated me. I have to be honest, I don't think I could have held it together if LSU would have lost a tight game like that during the final minute.

No...Jacksonville. I don't really consider that to be a home game. I know it's a neutral site, but I consider it an away game.

For me it was Auburn. I remember sitting at College Gameday in 2008 talking to these 4 random dudes about Football the whole time. I never got ragged and all I heard was "hope you enjoy your stay". Classy bunch

i've seen visiting fans swing at guys tigerbaiting them during tailgating and shite. im like dude, just take it like a champ, and they'll invite you over for booze and grub.

LSU. We took an RV down the Friday before the game. Woke up Saturday morning with people knocking on our door offering us breakfast. Had a blast the rest of the weekend...that is, until John Vaughn missed 5 field goals.

Exactly, I'm not going to say it didn't get on my nerves at times but just wave and keep walking. People take crap WAY to serious sometimes.

Yea that's a drastic overreaction. But the tigerbaiting can get annoying. Especially if there is that one overly drunk guy who walks with you just screaming it at you, as though he's got nothing better to do than re-rout his path so he can follow some opposing fans screaming tiger bait. Usually a normal fan will see the guy and say, ok fella you've done your part...but every once in a while he'll follow you to your tailgate then not really know what to do when you sit down and continue enjoying the day.
