Yes...I think Saban can bring it around. However to the old glory days...Dont think so. The SEC is crazy and no one can dominate like they did in the past (The Gators under the Ol Ball Coach included). I think Bama fans would have to accept the fact that the new equality in the SEC is only going to be more evident as the schools go after talent and good coaches. So if Bama fans can stand for a SEC West title every 3 years or so then maybe Saban will do enough.

I think that's what most normal Bama fans are thinking. I'll always think positive and go into each season expecting to win a championship, once everything is in place. But I know it won't happen and every 3 years would still be cream of the crop on a national level if it was on a consistent basis.

Who is the clown that always calls finescum? He's been linked on here a few times. Priceless how he sucked off $aban and blamed SJPW on the Moo St loss.

Croom only if he loses the momentum he picked up and tanks 7 games or more.

I think Spurrier will walk on his own, not necessarily this year. I just don't see the fire in him.

Saban could do poorly this season and it wouldn't affect his status. I think if he doesn't win more than 6 next season there will be an accounting.

Petrino is in a no win situation this season. I think he is given a pass.

I think Brooks is a foregone conclusion. The last half of the season was no where near the first. I think UK goes back to its former shell and Brooks is gone.

and you need a good defense to get by in the league. I agree with what the other poster said, Ark. will challenge for the West title every few years with no consistency.

I agree that Arkansas will Challenge every 3 years or so (hopefully 1 day finally bringing home the SEC championship), but Ole Miss pretty did the same thing Arkansas just did, except with a Defensive coach in Orgeron. That didnt work out to well for them either. Balance..is key to any championship. Got to have both to survive (with a little luck thrown in)

Spurrier is on the hot seat but he brings in so much money to the school in revenue.

Fulmer just signed an extension.

Saban,Petrino will stick around for another 2 years.

Tubbs isn't on the hot seat, but I see him leaving for another job if an easier conference opens up.

I've said the same thing about Spurrier. He just doesn't have that passion for the game like he used to.
