Those numbers are net revenue in football for those programs, not gross.

According to this article, Bama topped the list in the SEC last year.

That article is about ticket sales only or ticket sales plus stadium revenues only. The OP's question is broader than just gameday revenues.

Every list you see is a bit different, because they all factor in different things. Net, or Gross? Do they factor in student fees or not? Bottom line is that the SEC schools such as AU, Bama, UGA, TN, UF, and LSU are going to be in the top of any lists you see, Ark and SC won't be far behind then the other usual suspects, OSU, Texas, Mich, Tx A&M, etc.

Some SEC schools make money on more than just football.

LSU's baseball program at least breaks even. The basketball team used to make a little money.

2 - Kentucky, 14 - Arkansas, 16 - Tennessee

LINK

Are all in Forbes top 20 most valuable men's college basketball programs.

Of course we are probably the only school that makes more money on womens basketball that the majority of mens college teams do.

If even a decent season, Arkansas has net revenue in basketball. 14 is as low as we've probably been in 30 years as far as value of a bkb program.

I wouldn't be surprised if our baseball program wasn't also in the black as far as "net revenue".

None of it matters, though, as Title IX pretty much eats any profits from men's sports.

A small portion (by small I mean a couple hundred k) of Les' salary is from the state if I remember correctly but everything else is totally autonomous.

Amazing how far ahead Texas is. Even funnier that they keep losing championships.
