yet, before the streak this decade.. that wasn't the case. as it is.. it's a one game difference over 30 yrs.

And if you take out Bama's streak in the 70's the series is about even?

Even when you sort by quarter decades, Bama's still on top.

No, but you fire or run off coaches who go 10-1 but lose to AU because at the end of the day, all that matters to a bammer is beating AU?

I'm not gonna take out either. Yall have a one game advantage on the time frame yall wanna pick from.. we have 7 game advantage overall and going by yalls count.. a 7 NC advantage too. I'd say we've got the overall advantage.

So football has only been played in your lifetime? You sound like a FL fan..

Well the only way you'd have an inferiority complex as a fan would be to lose on a consitent basis to said team during "your" lifetime.. So older AU fans might, but I don't so gumps...

Why in the world would anybody have a complex to Ole Miss. We have won more in every major sport. With the exception of the 50's and 60's. In the the SEC division Era, Ole Miss is the only team in the west not to go to Atlanta. We won the Egg Bowl, we went to Ole Miss and won in basketball and Watching them collapse in baseball every year is pure joy to witness. Life is pretty good for me. Ole Miss.

Go get your phone. Call you father. When he answers, say "Barfield". You'll love the reaction.

I think this is the most important thing and pretty much ends the discussion for me. From everything I have seen MY ENTIRE LIFE, AU is as good or better the other in state school(s).

How many national titles have you seen during your lifetime? I've seen 2.

If I had to choose whether Auburn won more or I got to play for National Championships, I'd pick the championships.

As it is, overall, we've beaten Auburn more too!

Best of both worlds!
