We know exactly where BAMA was pre-Saban. Also where BAMA was when the fax campaign hired Dubose. Where BAMA was with every hire that had to have some connection to Bryant. There were "Bryant" guys all over the place with their own opinion of how things should be run. It was a circus.
The circus has left Tuscaloosa, and clown town is now in auburn.

I'm just glad we aren't on the list of nominees.
For a change.

There is one more thing, let me know when we receive a letter from the NCAA that we are being investigated. That was all garbage.

Auburn is the biggest disaster.

My thoughts are:
At least Arkansas hasn't embarrassed themselves in the last couple of weeks, and for sure know they are going to have a new coach soon. Now, in state recruiting might be poor, but that can be fixed with the right hire and good out of state recruiting.
Tennessee, well, they have money, and not all of their sports are in the tank. With Money and History, they can overcome poor in-state recruits and bad coaching. New AD hasn't messed up yet.
Auburn has no clue of what the future will be. They don't know if Chizik will stay or go. The AD has created multiple messes with their coaching decisions. They've recruited well based on the internet rankings of outsiders, but have either lost the talent to JUCO/Transfer/Injury/Prison, didn't have talent at all, or have ruined what talent they had via bad coaching.
So, Auburn's is the most "fixable" but is also the saddest and messiest, because it's not just the coaches, but the AD as well.

Pretty sure Therezie was being looked at by the AHSAA as well but thats another story that I never intended to bring up. The point is that some players recruited by Auburn are being looked into by the NCAA. That is not in question by anyone but you. Now this thread isnt even about the NCAA, it was merely a point in a conversation about how far in the shitter your program is. Being looked at by the NCAA, regardless of the outcome of past investigations, is a factor.
ETA: The south Florida investigation is still in play regardless.

No shite it isnt about NCAA. No one else brought this shite up but you and you tried to bringit up as a fact. The foster thing you just brought up was bullshite, didnt even bother to read the corrected article. The NCAA looking into FLA recruiting, involves a number of schools and still nothing has come up from up either. Again keep reaching.

You seem to be getting upset. I'm sorry that your team is in the shitter but its not my fault.
I'll admit that I missed the follow up article on Foster. My bad. It wasnt a case of "didnt even bother to read the corrected article", I just missed it. I can admit when I am wrong.
In south Florida however, it doesnt matter that you arent the only team being looked at. You are being looked at. Period. If you are a suspect in a murder investigation as part of a 4 man team, it doesnt mean you are any less fricked. Of course I guess you could use the excuse that everyone else is doing it.

You are being looked at too LINK
Dont act like your program is a shield of any ncaa investigations in recruitment

Tennessee
This is a tough one each school has similar yet different problems.
Auburn I think has the most overall talent but much of the talent needs a swift boot in the *(#$. Good recruiting class and decent depth on both sides. Problem is no player development so the players are very raw in many cases.
UT has less talent than AU in many areas but players are better developed and better disciplined.
Ark similar to UT but the program doesn't have the history as UT, I'd say Ark has more offensive talent than UT so it would have a good chance of performing better in season 1.

I am aware of that investigation. And that's all fine and dandy, except that this thread is about your team specifically (along with 2 others) and the mess that they are in.
How is the investigation you brought up relevant, in any way, to the conversation going on in this thread? I stated that being looked at by the NCAA, on top of the dumpster fire of a season that is going on, and the power struggle going on behind the scenes there (this is really the only point that is speculation but I think its pretty obvious that it is in fact going on), makes your team the biggest mess of the 3 schools in question. Alabama's current situation, good or bad, has nothing to do with any of those points.

Tennessee is in the biggest mess. Auburn has taken the biggest fall. Arkansas has only failed to meet everyone's expectations.

NCAA looking at TENN too, according to your article. Auburn is in a mess but like I said earlier in the thread, with the right coach can turn things around quickly. It has happened several times already. You just got a lot of hate for AU.

Ark fans, would you be happy with Tommy Tubbs as HC?

Tennessee... I'm going by what their fans expected this year. Tennessee have a big fan base, big stadium, etc, but they suck.
Arkansas will be back, that coaching crap fricked their program up for this season. A damn shame. It was fun having Arkansas being ranked in the Top 10, giving the SEC West another football power.

i wouldn't initially be thrilled- i'd rather have someone newer/fresher, etc.

I assure you that I have much more "hate" for Tenn. They are directly responsible for turning us in on NCAA violations that they were engaging in at the same time. We got the shaft and their dirty secrets came out after the statute of limitations. So if it was a matter of hate, then I would be saying that it was UT, not AU. The point about the power struggle behind the scenes is really what puts AU over the top IMO. Between guys like YellowWood and Lowder and Dye, there is a cluster frick going on in yalls boiler room. If the program can cut these guys out and move forward without them, then that would be one thing, but that hasnt happened yet.
Yes, I am aware that Lowder isnt controlling the ins and outs from the chairman's seat anymore, but that doesnt mean he has lost all of his pull. He still has a LOT of money and still has a couple building's named after him if I am not mistaken.
It's just a big clusterfrick down there and I think it is the BIGGEST clusterfrick in the SEC right now.

In truth each of them have problems so it is hard to say for certain. If I had to choose I would say Arkansas. They have the least amount of talent on board to go with a poor recruiting base to pull from and no history of real success in the SEC. They need to really knock it out of the park with their next hire or else they could fall back pretty far.
Tennessee has decent talent on board and proven recruiting pull to go with some great history of success, though it is getting to feel a bit ancient to HS kids.
Auburn has a real dumpster fire on their hands but they also have very good talent on board and are in a great recruiting region to go with a Crystal Football that still doesn't have cobwebs on it yet. The right hire could get it turned around pretty fast.
All 3 schools have the money, facilities, and willpower to do what they need to do there so I think that's basically a wash.
