Which potential bowl matchup is a "must" win to keep the respect of the SEC?

Besides the obvious answer NCG. I'm going with LSU vs. Tejas in the Cotton Bowl. Really hope the corndogs pull this one out. The media would have a hay day if Tejas were able to get a W.

Nope. If we lose to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl, that would be A LOT worse.

Gotta happen first. Looks like OU can easily fall to the Cotton should NIU or Boise State end up in the top 16 of the BCS.

Ole miss needs to win and state needs to lose for ole miss to put billboards up

Does "SEC Respect" extend to Mississippi State these days???

Ole Miss is an automatic win. Had we been matched up with Wisconsin, we would get our teeth smashed in. They are projecting us to play Northwestern which I think we will win.

State could probably beat Wisconsin. Wisconsin just showed what they are capable of finally. Probably wont happen again.

LSU will wipe the field with Texas

Not a snowball's chance in hell we would beat Wisconsin.

I would say there's no way LSU could lose to the horns, but with the way they like to mess around and keep it close, it could bite them given the right circumstances.

I bet you said the same thing with Townson, Ole Miss, and Arky.

I actually didn't but if it makes you feel any better, you're free to think that.
I said we'd wipe the field with state and I am usually correct
FWIW under Miles we are usually pretty dominant in bowl games..sans 1/9 and the tampa mud bowl

Yes y'all beat us, but in no way did yall "wipe the field". We were inside the 5 yard line with 2:30 left. Had we punched it in instead of throwing a pick 6 than it would have been a 1 possession game with us attempting an onside kick. If you think beating a mediocre State team by 14 points is "wiping the field" than you are in for a rude awakening.

CLM's 5 bowl wins have been by an average of 26 points. Then you have the bad loss against UA and a 2 point loss to PSU in the mud bowl. On astroturf this year I'm going with a 3 score win against whoever.

In no way am I saying that Tejas in going to win. I think yall beat them by 10+. But the overconfidence in some of y'alls posters is out of control.

No way tyler russell threw a pick 6 to throw a game away?!
I thought he was the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

37-17 is more or less wiping the field

I'm probably overconfident also. The LSU away team has been mediocre/horrible this year...but it's all I got.
