(b) is just fun. More power to them. They are by no means the only school to have ever done that.There were some Alabama fans with similar ones after the '82 season,and Florida fans likewise after the '83 season.

This. SEC does award co-champions. They just use the tie breaker to decide who to send to Atlanta. Imagine what would happen if we had a 3-way tie a la Big12 South last year. Texas put up a 2008 B12 South championship as well.
That being said......I still think that it's stupid to put up in the stadium.
