True. I just think most of the good results have more to do with LSU's draw of superior athletes than the head coach, imo.

exactly. The players win in spite of Miles.

This is priceless. How anyone can think this is just amazing.

Oh, it's quite easy and logical.

If Miles or any other of the extreme few NCAA head coaches could have the same success they have enjoyed at their respective schools, under the same conditions regarding recruiting and quantity & quality of local talent that Arkansas has, I will change my opinion. It is irrational to think the depth and caliber of players on a team does not have a large impact on its success.

i agree with this, BUT, it is dependent on the head coach primarily to be able to get the talent from that area to attend that particular school as my previous statement about cholly, nicky and les. it didnt nesc happen with bill, mike, jerry and a few more,, But the state talent was still available, ya know?

Agree, but that quantity of in state talent is not there for Arkansas, nor is the draw for out of state athletes is my point. If these few coaches were at Arkansas, I highly doubt they would have the level of success they've had at their schools.

I'm about to turn the burner off & head out.

I wouldn't take any of them over Miles. I am happy with our coach.

honestly, EL OH frickING EL at anyone who would take Freeze over Miles. He's going to crash and burn there just like Nutt did when he "exceeded" expectations.
