I know a ton of each, and i say lsu fans would have the ultimate meltdown after being undefeated and SEC champion and already beating alabama and talking ish about how they beat them and how Les owns Saban now etc...Then to have bama sneak back in the national title and pull the ultimate upset in Lsu's backyard. This would be the biggest meltdown since the patriots 18-1 season.

You guys talk about coaches as if they're suited up and playing. Stop focusing on the coaches as much as objectively looking at the players.

i don't think many fans are really even considering it since it's a win-win situation for lsu either way. we're not on the couch this week, praying that we have a chance to get in, and even if we do have to play some losers again, we'll beat them twice in the same year. There's no fear in the state of louisiana, just a overall sigh of the whining done a state over, look for my car as i pass through this weekend on the way to the ship "Enjoy the couch bama"

LSU meltdown will be the biggest because most Alabama fans - at least the sane ones - will feel fortunate that we even made it to the game. If Alabama wins, LSU will have nothing to show for their dominant season but an SEC title. Don't get me wrong, an SEC title is awesome, but LSU is ultimately shooting for the national title.

Really? Don't get any players injured - brah. I'll enjoy my sofa this weekend and so will the bama players, I'm sure.

I would submit that Bama would having 2 losses to LSU in 1 year. CNS would implode and the recruiting would take a big hit. What 18yo or the parents of that young man want to be put in that "Boiler Room"??

There's the issue. Living in Alabama, the number of fans that are insane outnumber the sane ones 4:1. Most bama fans I talk to here feel they are entitled to the championship game. Bama fans couldn't handle losing to LSU and Miles 2x in a season

I will have to disagree here. I will take and celebrate another BCS title should Bama play for and win it, but I would rather the Tide be in ATL this weekend. The SECCS matters a lot to me; best team in the best conference and all.
