Well, this explains my confusion to the relevancy of everything that was being posted on the last page I read, given the thread title and everything was posted 15 pages before.

Chances are......a thread will change topics 4-5 times in a 10 page span.

I'm sorry for using words and sentence structure that cause blood to shoot out of your nose. I'll tone it down for you. I don't want you to miss out on the fun.

Sounds like Clyde was a brave Mississippian. I'm going to enjoy reading up on him.

Very sad story, especially the fact that he was sent to Parchman for a bogus crime.

So where are the documents showing MSU lobbying to get this law changed?

Pank, you really need to read up on Mississippi during the Civil Rights movement. I want to believe that you are smart enough to know this stuff, but are playing dumb.

It's troublesome to think that the same thing could be happening today. I realize that most people in prison are guilty, but you and I both know that there are a few people in the klink who have no business being there.

Sorry, I'll save that for the Poliboard. Back to the pissing match.

ETA: In Klongdawg, "Me sad. Me sad because people in prison who do no wrong. Do no hurting or taking of things. Do no killing. But in prison with the bad guys because nobody no like them :("

It has nothing to do with sentence structure or you perfect grammar. It has to do with you getting your fricking panties in a wad, over nothing. Get over yourself. You are no better than the dog that drags garbage around in my neighborhood.

Mississippi historically throughout the past 100 years has been one of the most corrupt states in the US when it comes to shady dealings with the law and people taking the blame and fall for crimes committed.

Have you read "The Fall of the House of Zeus" about Dickie Scruggs. I want to give him and his son the benefit of a doubt in some areas.

Outside of Mississippi/Ole Miss/Mississippi State, no one gives a rat's arse about either.

To be honest, I think that most people that don't keep up with college sports think that Mississippi State is Ole Miss' official name. I've ran into at least 20 people here who think this. They know about Oxford (for the most part), but don't have much of a clue on what Starkville or Mississippi State is.

DC, you may not care much for me, but I respect the heck out of you as a OM Poster, and agree with a lot of what you have to say at times.

All I'm trying to do is get you to admit that MSU was no different than Ole Miss back in the 60's. You can't throw the "Ole Miss was racist in the 60's" card without taking into consideration we were made up of basically the same people MSU had back then. We were all Mississippi boys back then from the same towns.
