Our fans aren’t very intelligent. Some of them for some reason think that if Tennessee isn’t winning 10 games a season that the season is a failure. They forget what Heupel saved us from. From an actual football perspective I’m slightly worried about our intermediate passing game and the performance of our offensive line. Overall though we are a very dangerous team especially at Neyland. I think we will win 8-9 games this year.

Fair enough. Been there with Richt. Honestly I hate the current state of "If you don't win the Championship the season is a bust" I'm old school, if we beat Florida and Tech it is difficult for me to see the season as a failure lol.
With the ever expanding playoff we've already made the season mostly irrelevant and are well on our way to make winning the conference irrelevant. We've lost something IMHO

Yep the playoff or bust mentality is cancer. ( especially because non deserving teams get in because of DEI). I just enjoy the wins that we get. I was even satisfied with last year to a degree because we beat Florida. Hopefully Heup can take a few big scalps again this year

Yeah as a Vol fan you can't tell me that lighting up that cigar after beating Bama is not the sort of thing that made the sport great. Same with the tailgates at the cocktail party...all that stuff. You are correct. Natty or bust is a cancer
