Did he just quit after the Missouri game, or did members of the AD actually believe Muschamp was a better option moving foward? Straighten it out for me; is Spurrier a quitter, or is your AD really that stupid?

Just think about how bad South Carolina would really be without living off the success of a former SEC coach. Spurrier was forced out of a program built largely on his back, and now is being run by a coach who once gave up 42 points to a defense in one game

I'm not trying to troll you but saying its Mizzou, it genuinely just is. South Carolina is the 18th most valuable football program in the country according to Forbes. Mizzou didn't make the list. Vandy and Mizzou are the almost certainly the bottom 2 in terms of value.

I have to agree. The truest test of 'lack of value' is when your success only serves as an indictment of your peers.

We brought in aTm for money. They have delivered.

We brought in Mizzou for basketball. Instead we got SJW.

You guys are gonna get voted off the island.

How does that bring value? Their fanbase is small so they are selling less tickets at the SEC title game. Also viewers are less likely to tune in because Missouri is not a name brand program.

You don't understand value do you... Value is what someone is willing to pay for something not a bunch of football stats. When you want to talk value bring the neilsons next time.

It's definitely one of the schools that has never been to the SEC Championship game. (Texas A&M gets a pass because of the short time in the league)

So..

Mississippi
Kentucky
Vanderbilt

I'd probably have to say Mississippi. They add the most embarrassment and probably drag the overall league value down.

Easily Miss St and then Vandy. Neither provide a tv market to the conference that is not already saturated by another SEC school. Neither have much tradition of providing meaningful accomplishments in revenue producing sports (football and basketball). Neither have any particular appeal to a national audience (no famous traditions or things that you are celebrated for).

Vandy does at least provide some academic prestige to the conference (not that it really matters), as well as legal advantages of being private. And Nashville is a cool town to visit. So yea, MSU is by far the weakest link.

Should the SEC trade MSU to the ACC for a NC team?

Absolutely, but the ACC would not do that. Gaining a MS team would not be enough to overcome the net loss that would come from the SEC gaining a foothold in NC with a team like NC State. The ACC does not want the SEC anywhere near NC or VA.

I provide a logical and rational explanation for why MSU is the weakest link in the SEC in terms of value and this is all you can respond with?
