Whitehead was our backup plan when we lost out on Roberson.

As it's equally moronic to suggest a Nutt coached Ole Miss team commit would be a hard pull for AU directly proceeding a NC.

I don't doubt that. Just like I don't doubt that Nutt and our staff had given him some incentive to come play for us. I'm not saying Auburn is the only school that cheats.

What is your point? I have also seen pictures of Laquan Treadwell with a bunch of money circulating around the internet. Maybe you can explain where that money came from. While your at it, maybe you can actually list a football related reason why any recruit would pick Ole Miss over Auburn, because I sure as heck cant think of any. After all, Auburn has won as many or almost as many championships in the last 10 or 12 years as Ole Miss has won in their entire pathetic history

I'm not "butthurt". Just calling you out for being a dolt.

Playing time. Proximity to home.

It was probably a business decision

I have no doubt that Auburn has cheated in the past. However, I am skeptical of Auburn having to cheat to get players away from Ole Miss, because I consider your football program, to be a complete and total joke. Just like pretty much everyone else outside of Ole Miss' own delusional fan base

Meh, I'm not saying it's impossible, but Whitehead got a spot when it was clear that Roberson was going to Florida. I just don't think there was room for him until last minute. I don't necessarily think something fishy went down when he switched his commitment.

He was never committed to Ole Miss, IIRC

Well that makes it even less likely.

Ole Miss SEC Titles: 6
Auburn: 8

Ole Miss National Titles: 3
Auburn: 5

Ole Miss bowl victories: 23
Auburn: 22

Ole Miss in the major historic bowls (Orange, Sugar, Rose, Fiesta, Cotton): 9-5
Auburn: 4-5-1

Ole Miss' current players in NFL (Notable players): 17 (Eli Manning, Patrick Willis, Mike Wallace)
Auburn: 25 (Cam Newton, Ben Grubbs, Ben Tate)

You're not too far removed from our "joke program," guy. I'm not here to argue about your grammar (piss-poor by the way) or that Ole Miss is better historically than Auburn. I'm just here to say you sound like an uneducated chotch that makes the good Auburn fans look bad. Now either run in traffic, hide in the Opelika cave you came from, or have better posts.

He wasn't. I think he was actually a State commit but all signs in the last few months pointed to Oxford until NSD.

I don't think cheating is how y'all got him. Hell, it was probably the reason we were about to get him. Ole Miss fans were just very bitter about him when he chose Auburn. Both programs pay players just like the rest of the SEC so who honestly cares in the end.

Are all of the Ole Miss numbers from the 'white only' era?

The SEC only goes back to the 1930's. If you go back to when Auburn first started playing football in the 1890's, we have 12 conference championships. Ole Miss still only has 6 using the same time frame. That is twice as many by my math.

Auburn is also 28-10-1 against Ole Piss head to head all time. That translates to somewhere around a 70 percent winning percentage

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I also know Auburn has won significantly more games and has a significantly higher winning percentage. Neither one of those numbers is even close

Auburn also has two national championsips in major polls and another appearance in the national championship game last year. Ole Miss has a grand total of zero national championships in any major poll and has never even played in any legitimate national championship game

As I said before, Ole Miss' football program is a joke and not even remotely close to Auburn

When was Ole Miss's last SEC championship? The year after Ole Miss admitted their first African American student?

Yep, seems comparable.
