Bruh. When did I say TM was great or a legend.
I don't know. But the OP said it. I responded to the OP and you argued against me.

I want to set an unicorn on fire, just to see if it sprouts shamrocks and fairies.

Maybe it's just about my definition of greatness. Greatness is undeniable and universally accepted. No one has to argue that Michael Jordan was great. No one has to argue that Walter Payton was great.

Greatness is prevalent on every play, every game

I feel as if you're mixing great and legendary. If Michael Jordan was great, was he also legendary? Or has there never been a legendary player in the NBA?

People want to funnel TM7's greatness or lack thereof into one game. While he didn't necessarily play "great" in that game, it doesn't indicate his lack of greatness. Several "great" players have failed to show up when it matters most. Does it dissolve absolutely their greatness? Never.

In his two seasons, TM7 was a great player. Reason it however you wish, but the fact still remains.

Apparently your definition of greatness is not the same as someone else's definition of greatness. There is nothing wrong with that.

Iirc, the OP stated that we witnessed greatness in TM7's time at LSU. This does not necessarily mean that he was great. It is hard to deny that some of the plays he made on the field were great. His resume is very impressive. If he would have been more mature and finished his career, he possibly could have been considered great, but we will never know.

He is one of the most dynamic players I have seen in my lifetime, and arguably one of the most dynamic players to ever wear the purple and gold. That is what this thread is about. That is what it was intended to be about. Not a pissing match with Bama over who was greater. Some of you need to get over yourselves.

I don't think a certain segment is going to get that, but oh well.

I think tomorrow would be a good day for a Darren McFadden = Kevin Faulk thread.

I'm thinking Eric Berry vs Tommy Casanova could get a few hits.

I think most are too young to really know about Tommy C. Plus, not enough Tn fans, when compared to Arky.

A GREAT player wouldn't have performed like he did in BCSNC.

I've heard he had the flu or something during the game, but I don't know if that's true or not.
