No wade is a good coach but yall have been so bad the last few years with MM that you guys have started to romanticize the Wade era more than it should be

I mean outside his first season and the covid year, he took LSU to March Madness every year he was head coach. LSU was arguably a top ten team nationally his second year in BR and would've gone further in the tournament had the AD not been a bunch of pansies and suspended him from that tournament run. Moreover, LSU was a basket away from winning the SEC tournament for the first time since 1980 in 2021. Wade's good, really good and pearfect for LSU.

why would LSU hire someone who lost to Stephen Pearl and Sean Miller this season ??

appears NCSU has lost 3 of its last 4 and gave up 118 to Louisville do so -

Because we recall what he did at LSU and NC State will make the tournament this year regardless, those losses only help the cause of Pear returning to LSU because it partly demonstrates that NC State isn't that much of a vertical move if any.

Wade had one really good year in 2019 and he cheated his arse off to get it. Now with every program paying players, I wonder what his success level will be. It will be entirely a matter of it the LSU administration gives Wade ample funds to compete with basketball funds at Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Bama, the Texas schools, and UK.

They will have to sacrifice baseball or womens basketball, both of which are run by championship coaches, funds to be competitive in basketball

I mean, if His Pearness does return it would answer this question, wouldn't it? He's not coming back to LSU unless our NIL+school funds are clearly above avpearage.

The funds might be better than NC state but is it gonna be better than the other SEC schools that have made it clear that Football is King and that basketball comes second. LSU wont do that

I didn't say "better than NCSU", I said above average. My point, again, is that I seriously doubt WW comes back to LSU unless LSU is pledging to spend in neighborhood of top 4-5 in SEC.

You may wind up being right, but you're just guessing. Depends on how big a fan of men's basketball one or more of these guys are: Spaht, Canes dude, Shaq, Fertitta spawn, Gordon McKernan, MMR, etc.

Is this where I mention that now that everyone pays players, the advantage of having Wade as a coach has fallen exponentially?

Yep. People can get as mad as they want. But, that situation was all on Will Wade.

Why is LSU so obsessed with a coach that has never coached outside of the first weekend in the NCAA tournament?
