Amen. Tebow was/is a very special guy and should be in the top ten, but time has to be given. Herschel, Bo, Cannon, Archie, etc have lived on thru the years, if Florida keeps winning and other QBs are super dominant, it could impact his standing. We just dont know yet.
Herschel won a national title with a QB that completed ONE STINKING PASS in the title game. Those older guys did things in a different time of football. Tough to compare in todays world of locked and loaded offenses as opposed to guys that used to be one man shows, and the one man still dominated.

Let's also not forget that ESPN has subconciously (or maybe not) shoved Tebow into every person's brain for the last 4 years. With Herschel, all he had was the newspaper and Sports Illustrated. There was no internet. If people wanted to watch something about Herschel they had to catch an interview on the 5:00 news. In today's world, Tebow is constantly bombarded onto America's psyche from TV, internet, radio, blogs, podcasts, etc. etc. to where you almost can't even ignore it.

Herschel has personalities that are greater than Tebow

This. The newness affect is going on here, dude just graduated. CFB fans in the south who are 13 know who Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson are. As has been said above, let's wait about 20 years before we judge Tebow along with CFB's greats.
I think just the opposite is happening with Bo/Herschel. The fact that they were great players 20+ years ago causes some to think the good ol' days were better than now. My history spans all three of these and without hesitation I would vote Tebow ahead of Bo/Herschel. And I don't for one second dismiss how great they were.
