Hey 2005 could have been a really solid year. If we had not lost the two biggest games of the year, it would be something to be proud of. One of the games we lost in OT, and the other we just got our teeth kicked in. But then we went on to win our bowl game and spent the rest of the off season proclaiming the NEXT YEAR to be our year - with our head coach who had been nothing but a position coach up to that point.
Now that I think about it, that sounds eerily familiar.

Being #6 when everyone behind Clemson and Bama are above average at best,is that really anything to be proud of ? As bad as Bama got their arse kicked, they're still far better than everyone else not named Clemson

No LSU fan is trying to do that. It amazes ME that bama is mad because fans, all fans, are glad bama lost. It AMAZES ME that aggies feel that now, they are some powerhouse that will never be beat because they won a 7OT game.
