Damn. 18-30 is going to be hard to overcome. Might be 2022 at the earliest now.

What about an entire senior class of Vols that will have gone their college career without beating VANDY after they lose this season? Ouch...

The last time Tennessee beat LSU was 2005.

I completely forgot about that I just know LSU crushed Bama’s season in that 2005 overtime loss in Tuscaloosa. Shula had finally looked like he might get Bama somewhat relevant again then LSU wins in OT then Auburn beat us too back to back. JaMarcus Russell was a competent quarterback in 2005. He threw that winning td pass.

I think it says more about Ole Miss than Coach O. Ole Miss is probably going to fire their most successful baseball coach in their history. Ole Miss isn't that bright and the worst athletic department in the SEC

Weird that I don’t remember Shula bringing in top 5 recruiting classes or winning any NY6 bowls.

Good point. Mike Shula was a much better coach than Coach 0 because he was getting those 10 win seasons with less talent due to sanctions and still managed at "NY6" Bowl win over an opponent that wasn't a shitty arse G5 team.

I wonder if USC regrets that decision? They were winning with Orgeron. How have they done since????

Yeah, I'm sure they lose sleep daily over not hiring a coach who can barely speak English with a losing record.

Remember when Casey Clausen won Phil’s second title for y’all in 2001? Nah, Matt Mauck doesn’t remember neither.
