Weird how a public university with no known megarich donors in one of the poorest states in the country is the only one who can afford to buy a #1 class consistently.

It is legal, but chances are bama will have the same outcome that a&m had. Throw a shite ton of money at a bunch of 18 year old kids who have never had it and watch everything crumble. What happens when you get into a bidding war is the kids get an even bigger head, and dont want to listen. Kelly made a statement saying he won't get into bidding wars like that and we still signed a top 10 class without overpaying.
