Bama would be better off with Dabo. I think this will inevitably happen when Saban retires.

Your entire belief that Georgia wouldn't do the same thing.

It’s not a belief it’s a fact. If we need facility improvements Saban tells the AD what we need then they get the money and do it. No other team in the country does that.

Nobody wants a choke artist like Kirby. Great recruiter, C- coaching only gets you so far.

Kirby is young. His coaching will improve.

Why? Georgia is his alma mater and the Alabama job doesn't give him any kind of tangible, competitive advantage that Georgia doesn't.

Accountability and expectations. BAMA would force him to hire better and not allow him to screwup those recruiting classes

Dabo is a great coach and he may be the one but it would be a complete culture change. Kirby runs it just like Saban just not as well.

You think Clemson and A&M improve whatever facilities their coaches ask for without question or a vote from their BOT? Dude you’re crazy.

When the time comes, Bama fans will be onboard. He’s the right fit.

Would you rather have the UGA alum, who is struggling to win it all at his alma mater or the Alabama alum, who has already won multiple national titles. They are about the same in terms of recruiting. You could argue Kirby does it a bit better.

I think they do it if their coach asks for it.

Impossible to compare it to Saban though as the administration trusts him more because of his winning record.

To pretend Alabama would do that for every other coach is delusional.

Nick Saban salary: $9,753,221 million

See how Saban’s current salary has $1 at the end? He’s currently 3rd behind Riley and Kelly. If we win this championship he’ll be at whatever Riley is +$1.

It’s not that I prefer Kirby as a coach. Kirby is just the better fit. Saban will coach for 5-8 more years. That’ll make Dabo 60 by the time he retires. Plus, as I said earlier, it would be a complete culture shift to a players coach environment.
