Being undefeated and even winning your conference doesn't make you a Heisman QB. Surely there are some examples, but that's on everyone else to figure out.

It doesn’t matter what anybody says the fact of the matter is with his numbers and if we win the West and we head to the SEC championship even with a loss in the SEC championship he’s got a very good shot at winning the Heisman. His #s and performance all season have been by far better than any QB AND he’s been consistent. Penix busted last weekend. JD has never had a bad game

Bama will really make or break it for him. You almost certainly have to win, and you have to look good while winning.
