At least that guy is honest. That conference fell apart after Arkansas left. A lot of Texas homers will not admit that, but it is the truth.

I think Bama's is gonna be in the 50's sometime.
Just going thru football we didn't go to a bowl in '95, '97, '00, and '03. I know we made the baseball postseason in all four of those years.
Before that in 1984 we didn't make a bowl but the basketball team went to the tourney. And before the last time we didn't go to a bowl was 1958.
There was no March Madness back then nor the baseball tournament setup.
Just going thru football we didn't go to a bowl in '95, '97, '00, and '03. I know we made the baseball postseason in all four of those years.

But in academic years, Alabama didn't make the 'Big 3' in 2000-2001 season, unless you count the NIT. No bowl or NCAA appearances.
