1992.
Loved playing sports but hated watching them until then. Jumped on board because my family's best friends were from Alabama. I've sat through some rough times for sure.

I didn't ra shite. But it's apparent that you're trolling since you can't name a single bandwagon fan.

He won't answer my question either. He doesn't seem to realize that if you only allowed those who attended the school to be fans, Tiger Stadium would be 75+ percent empty every game.

I didn't say sidewalk. I respect those who have been fans of a school for decades regardless of where they went. Much more respect for a lifelong Tulane fan than a "new" Bama fan of last 5 years.

Bama has sold out every home since the 80s. Bama has been one of the largest fanbases since Bear. Look it up.

Because they're human beings. Human beings love to be associated with winners, so non-diehards won't follow football as closely when their team is winning. It's the same everywhere to a degree. People will still be "Bama Fans" but not live and die with the team like other people will. They just have other interests.

You might be surprised to learn that LSU has a lot more vocal fans now than they did when they were terrible.

I'll agree with that. But that concept seems so foreign to those in here.

Only truly following when a winner isn't a true fan. And I didn't say LSU doesn't have them as well.

Again totally expected. Bama fans can only handle the "tell us we are the greatest of all time threads." Fits with my point.

In all seriousness, you are a genius. You know exactly how every conversation and thread you start is going to turn out. Given how much of this thread you saw coming, some might question why you bothered to start this (stupid) thread.

Good luck with getting out of Louisiana and seeing the rest of the world. It's not a very fulfilled life if you die within 10 miles of where you were born.

Ha. Been all over, including your beloved Oregon.

The non-bandwagoners wouldn't get so defensive about this question. Above duly noted.

People who've been all over wouldn't get so defensive about this question. See how easy that is? Please don't get defensive about that question. You're so damn defensive! You're probably hiding something.

Sarcastic icons are for defensive people. People who aren't defensive use nonsensical icons, so

Are there more beggars in Seattle,Oregon or bandwagon Bama fans? Now that would take deep thought.

Yeah, I messed that up. Was trying to edit fast.

Was trying to take a quick dig but obviously that was Washington. Actually did enjoy Oregon although regret not going play that course on the coast.

Golf on the coast is rough out here because there seems to be a permanent cloud bank that sits there. Two miles inland - sunny and 90 degrees. On the water - 70 and raining. It's weird, especially when you're used to Florida beaches.

I love Oregon. It's beautiful, and the people are laid back.

I did get to play on one of the courses and it was very different. Very cloudy and light rain. I could barely see my ball but I don't mind stuff like that when it's different. We are just hot and flat over here so I like variety. The one I didn't go to was about an hour and a half from where we were but is rated as one of the best in the country. Can't remember the name. Would have to look it up. Ever since then I have told myself to not pass on opportunities like that again. Maybe I'll make it back out that way one day.
