Eh, we return all the playmakers(except Mallett), and 10 on D, maybe even 11 depending on who you ask
Who is Kniles back-up? What about ANY back-ups for the D-Line. As I said depth will be your problem especially as the season wears on.
And no matter what you say about QB, it will be a weakness for Wilson being a full time starter this season.
I see LSU's QB position either being a lot better or no worse where we won 11 games and was in all of them. Sooooo...

The 3rd post of THIS thread, Joe Hamm said......

-2010 BCS team
-return most of the D that has improved each season since 2008.
-return 4 highly productive WR's
-return SEC's leading rusher
-Have the second best special teams in the league behind Georgia
-Have the motivation coming off of close losses to OSU, Auburn, and Bama from last season.
-It's our time
The amazing thing woopigsooey, is this was 3 posts above yours.

You took a knee and you are losing. WOW, just like a Hog laying down in his own shite and AVOIDING answering the Question posed.
Just FREAKIN answer the question.
How many Overall SEC football championships has Arky won?
You want a hint???
It is between -1 and 1.
Still waiting.
Stop flaming so damn much and I will stop asking you the same damn question.

Knile's backup is Dennis Johnson and third string is Ronnie Wingo.
Dline is the deepest position on our team other than WR. You are joking, right? We rotated guys in and out like crazy last year and have added a few solid players since then. Off the top of my head, Alfred Davis is the second string NG with Robert Thomas penciled in as third string. Many people think that Thomas will start by the end of the year. At DT we have Askew and Stadther, neither are huge playmakers but are solid run blocking DTs. At DE Nash, Calendar, and Smith all had substantial playing time last year in big games.
Our depth problem is on the offensive line and secondary, maybe linebacker as well but less so than last year. We don't have a depth problem elsewhere.
Maybe you should worry less about our depth and worry more about your starters at QB (regardless of what you say) and DL.

Not mad at all just tired of the flaming done by a few on here without being man enough to stand up and say the truth when asked a simple question.
We all know the answer, but will someone, anyone who is a real Hog fan, be man enough, have enough pride and take ownership for answering the following question since Hawgeye needs to go change his tampon.
"How many Overall SEC Football Championships has Arky won?.
"Beating LSU" in 2010 may have been the greatest feeling in 2010 considering what was at stake. I admit, we were horrible on offense in 2010 and were lucky to win as many games as we did. I will also admit we were as close to winning all of our games with said shitty offense.
Hawgeye suggests Arky is going to be this and that and LSU is shite.
If LSU beats Arky in 2011 and Les and Bobby are tied with won loss, will any Arky fans come on here and say anything positive about him? If roles are reversed, I would be the first to come on here and congratulate the Arky football team.
Just trying to end a month long debate between the 2 of us.

I would think LSU fans would be familiar with him.
Hint: rushed for a combined 205 yards and a touchdown in two games against LSU

Jake isn't joking. He's just ignorant or stupid; perhaps both. The Hogs will field the deepest, most talented team Arkansas has had in a long, long time. That’s why you see so many posts about Arkansas is thin here, not talented there, etc. If posters like Jake weren’t worried, very worried about Arkansas you would never see any posts from them. Jake and his ilk should be worried and they are.

...but...but...the rant said that doesn't matter because Arkansas has never been a big time program. The past is the ultimate indicator of future success.

Yea..it's part of our football roots, much more so than "football", i.e. soccer.

That's like someone trying to make the argument that Princeton and Yale will vie for the NCAA Championship this year because they have won more than any other program in NCAA history, Princeton (28), Yale (26). Only buffoons would make either argument because what happened years ago will have nothing to do with what’s going to happen this year.

The Somalia's are a bunch of bad-asses, no wonder that they do so well in our football. I was like dam, beasts then they broke into their dance afterwards.

I just don't get it. Honestly, consistently over the years they have been one of the SEC's biggest disappointment. Over hyped. Each year they say, "this is our year!" Each year they are, well, Arkansas. Need we say more? They have proven nothing -but I guess their glory is preseason love because midway through each year they are just average, just arkansas.
Not true. There are a lot of Arkansas fans who never said we'd win the SEC, certainly not under Hootie Dale.
True that there are some fans wihtin our fanbase that always proclaim a breakout season, but that is a simple minority, just like every other fanbase (except maybe Vandy) has.
Stupid thread.

Nuh uh. Arkansas lost all of it's SECCG appearances, and lost bowl games to the likes of Ohio State and UNLV. Thus, Arkansas will never win anything ever and suck from now until the end of time. 5-7 at best this year.
Posted on 7/17/11 at 11:02 am to Arkansasrazorback
We all know Bobby can change that record, but it has to happen on the field first before we can expect any other fanbase to recognize it.
Posted on 7/17/11 at 11:14 am to Arkansasrazorback
This is freaking ridiculous. Yes Arkansas will probably have the best offense in the SEC, but the OL will decide how well it plays and it is not the strength it was last year. Same can be said for Alabama, LSU,MSU, and especially Auburn. Personally I think where Arkansas fans are wearing the homer glasses is their defense. This is a defense that gave up at least 20 points in every game but 2 and 1 of those was ULM and A&M was pre Tanneyhill. Arkansas fans have every reason to be excited this season, but need to be ready for disappointment.
Posted on 7/17/11 at 11:17 am to CrimsonFlounder
I'll go one further, not much proven depth at LB and worse in the secondary. We have yet to see a great defensive secondary under Willie's system. They were always good to give up the deep ball at least once or twice a game. They HAVE to prove they are better for anyone to believe it.
