You take out dumb baserunning mistakes and FSU is likely 0-2 against an average LSU team

UCLA was not overrated. They have a good club. Why not give credit to Michigan. They went on the road and won a Regional at Oregon State and then won a SR at UCLA.

That is impressive. Why disparage the team that loses instead of crediting the team that wins for playing well.

Totally get this if a #2 or lower seed comes out of a regional and gets paired with a #1 seed from their own conference in a super. But there is no reason to pair #1 regional seeds from the same conference against each other in a super. I don’t care whether it’s SEC or any other conference. If Georgia had won its regional, then LSU would have been there as well. Terrible. The only way this is unavoidable is if one conference has 9 number 1 seeds in the regional round.

Don't worry we will introduce them to Campbell (hopefully lol) and make our SEC brethren proud.

I dis-remember 5 in 1997:

Alabama
AUburn

LSU
Mississippi State

Florida was not there that year.

Actually only four made it in 1997. All from the SEC West.
Bama, Auburn, State and LSU
Florida lost in the Regional.

maybe I should've picked a different team I guess but my point is these blatant SEC supers matchups solely to eliminate conference teams for the sake of adding different teams is BS...

I think it BS we got matched up. Y'all should be hanging out with us in Omaha. We could play 2O games and I'd bet we'd split it 10 to 10. I gave ya'll some hell this weekend but y'all have an amazing baseball program and wonderful fans. Made some Ole Miss buddies this weekend. Proud to call ya'll SEC Bros !!

You are absolutely correct.

Florida must've been 1998.
