Went to the very first Saints game. John Gilliam ran the opening kick-off back for a TD vs the Rams. Never seen anything close to the bedlam of the Saints scoring on their very first play.

1996 Olympics, saw a number of track and field finals just 10m shy of the finish line, 8 rows off the track. Especially the men's 200m final. Traded pins (Olympic village pasttime) and had a few beers with Roger Maris (2 time Decathlon gold medalist) and Milt Campbell (1 time Decathlon gold medalist) at the Kodak hospitality pod between early and late track sessions. Was there 4 days and 3 nights, 2 tickets/day, meals and lodging at Hotel Nico, gratis... Never even opened my wallet.

UF beating UO in the 2008 natty. That was nose bleeds on the 10 yard line, but I was there.

Notre Dame vs Texas in the 1970 Cotton Bowl. Notre Dame’s first bowl game in decades, the Original Four Horsemen were there as were every Notre Dame notable in their .history. Texas was ranked #1 on the way to the 1969 National Championship, President Johnson was in attendance with every notable sports personality in national media. Thrilling game not decided until the last play. Joe Theisman was the ND QB.

My daughter running a 5:21 mile, getting 2nd place and making All-State in her last HS track meet. She always said she was disappointed not to be a state champion, but she was a champion to me. She battled but those St. Paul’s girls from Mobile were tough competitors.

Since the Kick 6 is arguably the greatest end to an already phenomenal game, in college football history, i'm going with that.
