So he made the right decision
LF has no business backing up anyone after his freshman year
Championships or not, his draft status will be based on his production

LF7 would have better coaching and have a better OL to run behind....etc

I've seen better college backs, but not since Barry Sanders. AP was better over his first two years (averaged), but Fournette's second year was equal to AP's best.
If Fournette was at Bama Henry would have been the second string back last year. But he probably would have been used a lot since he's very good.

Start a non-Alabama thread and I'll talk about it with you.

Gurley, Chubb amd McFadden were all on tv. How did you miss them?

You keep him on the field as much as possible.
How'd that work ouy for Les in the 2015 Bama game?
LF racked up lost of his gawdy numbers against bottom half of CFB defenses.

I don't know.

On talent alone that's probably right.

I guess if he's not a competitor who wants to win titles then it doesn't matter if he wins titles. That said, his draft status would be the same anyway. At Bama he'd have less touches, meaning less wear and tear on the body. Bama backs go to the NFL like clockwork, one with LF's talent is a sure fire 1st rounder, probably top 15.

All great backs
We can argue all we want; this will be settled when Fournette is taken in the first three picks in the next draft. The pros know what I know, that this guy is the best in a long time.

Get over used and suck at the next level.

LF averages 5.4 ypc and 108 ypg against the SEC. McFadden averaged 5.6 and 129. That's after 3 years. Hell, Henry averaged 5.8 and 104 and he only started for 1 season. Gurley 5.9 and 110. You and many others highly overrate LF at this point. He's a real good SEC RB.

How about we let him play his junior year before we start comparing his stats to a guy that played 3 years.

He would have been Henry's back up last year and would start this year.
