FWIW Pollards HS team is playing in the State semi finals this weekend.

Why would he move from Richmond to Starkville? You have basically the same history as VCU, and he has an easier schedule than he would in the SEC. Lateral move salary wise, worse place to live and work.

Damn. I guess he probably won't be able to make our game then.

You have been pretty confident in getting him all along. If Stans is indeed fired, do you think it would send Pollard to Tuscaloosa?

He would start for either team as a freshman, IMO.

I'll add on to that question. Wouldn't Pollard and Hood be playing the same position?

It will depend on who we hire, but if Stans is fired y'all become the team to beat

So sensitive. He was pulling your chain. Even I could see that.

I hate you though.

Hood is closer to a 3. I think once Pollard gets in the SEC he will be closer to a 4.

Pollard is a 4 IMO he can defend bigs due to his shot blocking skills.

Oh okay. I was just wondering if Grant may be selling that to Pollard that he may have to compete against Hood where as at Alabama, he'll be the best at his position. Like Robot said, he'll start at both places.

This.

Even if both were 3's they would still be on the floor together. Both got the length to where it wouldn't matter much on positioning.

I think Hood is a pure 2 who can play the 3 if needed to.

Pollard could play the 2, 3, or 4 in college at a pretty high level though.

Y'all have Mitchell assuming he comes back at the same position.

I wouldn't anticipate him being back.

He needs to work on his handles and his right hand, but he'll more than likely always be a three for us. But could be a 2 in the league.

Sidney and likely Deville Smith won't be back for us.

Deville transferring or having to quit cause of his headaches?

I've heard nothing about Deville leaving. I'd hate to see him go.

I can't say much about it, but if he does transfer he will have to make some major changes.
