It wont matter. You still have Saban as the coach. He knows what he is doing.

I think Saban realizes he has Gold and Platinum in each pocket, so I would guess he will play the dual threat next year. If he does, and both Hurts and Tua excel, its all over but the crying, Bama on to another NC... 7 titles and Saban replaces the Statue of liberty in New York. LOL

I strongly feel that TUA will win the job. Saban knows who gives him the best chance to win when the team has a strong defensive front.

I will melt hard. I feel TUA has already won the job. He confirmed what most people suspected. He was the transcendent, if riskier choice. It was on plain display.

IDGAF how many games we won with TUA. We won a lot with JPW, Blake Sims, and Jake Coker too.

TUA has an NFL throw and he belongs back there. We can overcome a pick here and there.

I gave Saban the benefit of the doubt all year on this decision. He seemed to be validated with that one turnover, but then the magic started.

It's why I think 2017 is both his best and worst coaching job.

There were some times during the season I thought Saban was slow to respond. However, he made the right call when the stakes were at the highest.

Not surprised.

Saban has never needed a gunslinger to win championships. He does need a QB that can stand in the pocket, make a decision, and pull the trigger.

Tua will have to work on protecting the ball and proving the interception, the few coverage sacks, and the risky TD throw were fixable mistakes. If not, I'm not going to be surprised to see Jalen "I Don't Turn the Ball Over" Hurts be the starter next season.
