The Tenn vs Fla game was legit and was the official kickoff to SEC play.

UF had winning record after the 1990s vs UT. Just picked up my 1996 media guide and here ya go,

Win/Loss/Ties: UF beat LSU in 1996, 98, 99, 2000 and even Zook got a W in red stick against Saban when y'all got the NC.

UF 21 LSU 18 5 record through 1995

With the current 10 game win streak UT has become property of the UF athletic dept. We never played UT much in the 1933 to 1980 era.

UT was fun to beat back in the Fulmer days when Spurrier frustrated him (along with most of the SEC).

2007... first year Saban came to Bama.
Bama beat them that year 41-17 and made their arse quit, they have been swirling
around in the toilet bowl since.

UT was very good. Had excellent booster support and recruited nationally. Then they turned on Bama (Albert Means) because they got out bid, turned over evidence for immunity. Elephants (Bama) have long memories. UT had to give up the old ways of recruiting.

Note: Bama was guilty, but Nothing sucks like the big orange.

I'll say this I remember both in B'ham and Ttwon there being UT fans EVERYWHERE. Aside from Auburn, UT always has had the most visiting fans but I remember, I think it was 99 the normal lower bowl allotment being there and the whole friggin south end zone was orange and probably half the east upper. I had never seen that many visitors in BDS. It was estimated there were 25K Vol fans there that day. They were extremely....visible as well before and after the game. Like with any fanbase, they've been quite tame the last few years. They still bring a ton but not like the Fulmer days.

I mean honestly since about 2008, Bama and Tenn have kind of just switched places. Tenn was a top 15 outfit every year, and Bama was down. Bama has been better the past decade than Tenn was the decade before 2007, but Tenn was legit

I see Dooley spent so much time teaching you mouth breathers how to shower he never got around to where babies come from.
