In all honesty they need to improve the fielding. Get behind, and start pressing at the plate. So many errors in the highlights I’ve seen

what makes you think they’ll turn it around? They played the OOC portion of their schedule already and only averaged 6 runs/game and in the meat of their schedule now in SEC play and down to 2 runs/game. Yalls OOC was so poor that finishing below .500 in conference won’t get you a regional bid and you’re already 5 games in the hole.
So yes, I think yall are fricked
The stacked lineups up and down the rosters of every SEC team puts a lot of pressure on the pitchers to throw zero's. That's a tough hole to climb out of.

Missing preseason 1st team and 2nd team all sec players plus closer
I feel for Prager, Lamkin, and Patton as they’ve done their part on the mound. Zero support behind them or at the plate.

IDK but I’m glad LaViolette stayed put at A&M instead of coming to LSU and hurting our team batting average.

I mean I keep thinking it will happen but this hole is almost too deep to dig out of regardless.
It isn't like they're losing a game here and there, they're losing games in bunches and many against inferior opponents.
It's baffling.
