If I pay someone 12 million dollars to be the face of my university, you can bet your butt I'm gonna know every single detail about what your doing on the clock and off.
They are a public figure...they sign away that privacy when they take that job.

I think some of his transgressions are coming to light to get him to agree to a lesser lump sum.
Doubtful.

What was your take on the Auburn Bryan Harsin stuff from a few years ago?

Doucet just reported that the buyout had been negotiated down to $27m
quote:
From a source I trust, this is what I was told about LSU Football firing head coach Brian Kelly. The powers that be met with Kelly Sunday morning. There was no discussion about assistants. Kelly was told he was out, period. LSU was moving on without him. Kelly's buyout was negotiated down to $27 million, about half of what he was owed. This was done through the violation of morality clauses in his contract. Louisiana governor Jeff Landry met with the LSU Board of Supervisors before Kelly's firing. Landry did not invite LSU athletic director Scott Woodward to this meeting.

Lol…is there anything more hypocritical than LSU and its AD and athletic program invoking a “morals clause” over a consensual relationship involving a legal age man and woman? Given the precedents of Derrius Guice, Drake Davis, Coaches Miles and Obregons honeypots, widespread sexual assaults and lawsuits involving LSU and it’s athletes, stealing money from children’s hospitals, sideline payouts on national television, sports betting from its athletes, etc.? Wow. Trashy hypocrisy its finest.

None of this is reported as factual, so who really knows
Yeah, I obviously have no idea, but thought it was interesting that it was mentioned here way before I saw that info in the media.
Of course it's also possible that whoever initially "reported" that read it here first.
