with 2 minutes left in the game jordan jefferson takes the field trailing 14-13
drives down the field both passing and running all the way down to the 23 yard line where colt "45" david will blast a 40 yard field goal as time runs out to win 16-14
this puts jordan jefferson as not only our starter but puts him right up their with tommy hodson, d-byrd, and auburns former kicker as our favorite players during this rivalry

DByrd catches a bubble screen with 30 seconds left, finds a hole and starts racing down the Aubie sideline.

Out of nowhere, Tubby dives for Dbyrd's knees. Byrd hurdles Tubby on the way to the endzone, tubby ends up with a mouth full of aubarn shitdirt while crushing his favorite cigar.

Meanwhile...

Blackmon has an angle on Byrd who was slowed slightly by the astounding hurdle of Tubby. Blackmon proceeds to knock the frick out of Byrd in a hit ESPN is unable to air due to Bryds head coming off. Jerrad Powers scoops up the ball and races in the opposite direction for the winning AU TD which sets off the the most incredible celebration ever seen. AU fans rush the field trampling Miles, Mike, and half the LSU team.

The scoreboard operator lets the clock run to triple 0:00 and the refs pick up the flag they had thrown for phantom holding on LSU.

LSU football is devasted. Missing half their team, their lovable mascot and coach with the gigantic balls the rest of the 2008 season is in doubt.

Announcers will say the "stiff LSU defense stuffed the Spread Eagle offense"

RP will be on the AU sidelines as an "undergraduate assistant" stealing LSU's signals, and a whole SEC spygate investigation will ensue.

With Auburn trailing 21-17 at the LSU 20, it's 4th and 10 with :05 remaining. To everyone's surprise Trindon Holliday is lined up at the DE position. He blazes past the O-line and gets the sack to preserve the victory. As the referee is attempting to pull his flag out to call a phantom offsides penalty on TH, RJF stares him down and he slowly puts the flag back into his pocket. The ref is later seen giving Tuberville his money back.

We'd probably still put up more than 3 points against MSU.

It's nice to see some good natured ribbing instead of the dumb insult you usually get on the Rant.

Well...I hope it goes down as the "BLOWOUT" game for LSU. I would like nothing better than to leave AUs dead, burnt carcase laying on the sideline.

Then Tuberville wakes up from his coma, only to learn it was all a dream, that while diving for Byrd he hit his head and got knocked out, and that Byrd indeed scored the TD. To make it worse, Auburn fumbled the ensuing kickoff after a ruthless hit, and LSU recovered and scored another TD while Tub's body was being taken to the hospital. LSU kicked off one more time, went for the onside kick, and recovered it. On the next play, Scott ran through a monster hole blown open by Herm and Black, only to be met by Blackmon. Scott felt sorry for Blackmon, so he let Blackmon tackle him without trying to break his neck with a stiff arm. Blackmon failed to bring Scott down, and Scott took it all the way for a TD with 0:00 left in the game. The refs tried to put 20 minutes back on the clock, but the Auburn fans, sick of the cheating refs, ran them out of town. The rest of the Auburn fans that stayed gave LSU a thunderous ovation, thanking LSU for showing them what greatness looks like, for showing them a goal to dream about with their own program.

When Tommy hears all this, he is sad, but it doesn't surprise him... after all, he knows he is at Auburn. Poor Tommy.

I'm gonna predict that a long LSU TD gets called back on a phantom holding penalty and then they turn the ball over on the next play

After the celebration is over the replay clearly shows that Jerrad Powers scooped up D.Byrds head and the ball was left in the field of play.
A very alert Herman Johnson (after puking his guts up at the site that ESPN would not show) picks up the ball and moonwalks into the end-zone
and displays the best dance ever preformed by a lineman in the history of football.
