What should LSU do with Michael Van Buren?

Let me preface by saying I am a VB fan. He got thrown into a ahit situation in Starville last year. True freshman. No offensive line. No WRs. No running game. And he hung tough and played well.
Too bad State couldn't afford to keep him. LSU got a bargain and he walked into a great situation at LSU. He gets to spend a year behind a Heisman candidate learning the system and taking a Redshirt. And then he has an opportunity to be a three year starter at LSU. That's a dream scenario.
But now that's all upside down.
He has played well in two games (13/16, two TDs, 0 picks). He can play in two more without losing a year of eligibility. So now what do you do?
Play him the rest of the way in a wasted season?
Or limit him to two more games and have him for three more years?

MVB would be stupid to allow them to play him more than 4. And LSU should be smart enough not to do it

Reality is we’re paying Shapen and KT probably 2x what it would have taken to keep MVB. Him leaving was more of a product of new coach/system.
