And good QBs aren't sticking around collecting Golden Arm career achievement awards as Seniors like an honorary Oscar. They're in the NFL.

10 of the last 13 Super Bowl winning QBs were in college as seniors (Big Ben twice; Aaron Rodgers, although Big Ben was at Miami of Ohio for fours seasons).

There are 7 QBs who have higher stats in total yards than any of the Heisman attendees. Why is that?

If it went to the QB with the biggest stats the last 10-15 years it would have gone to either Houston, Texas Tech, or Hawai'i starting QB almost every year.

They are talking about this being the biggest margin for any Heisman winner (Winston).

So ... I don't understand how you can have so many finalists...it's usually been around 4 the last couple of years.

It's like they decided to give a bunch of people a free vacation.

AJ McCarron has managed to pull off these feat despite not even being named to either All SEC teams

I'm tired of the SEC offices in Birmingham. It needs to be moved down the road to Tuscaloosa.

they couldn't spurn AJ, he's the life-time award. tre mason only really had a heisman push after the alabama game.

it's winston and the rest of the pack is far behind. almost courtesy invites.

Kinda like a fat chick showing up in the Miss USA pageant.

Obviously the fat chick was a system contestant.

While the injured Johnny Football wasn't the same as he was last year, I still chuckle at Manziel was not even mention in the Pre-Season All SEC.

Heisman shouldn't be just about statistics.

The heisman might as well just let the finalists fight and whoever wins, takes the trophy home

It isn't. Unfortunately, the voters usually pay no attention to the criteria.
