If Milroe was such a hot shot QB why wasn’t he put in the game against UGA when things started turning south for the Vols. He couldn’t have been much worse than that way overrated QB y’all worshipped

When you have enough money, being ugly is a choice. Doctors can fix anything you don't like.

With Milton we actually have tangible results to show he isn’t the same guy that transferred from Michigan a couple years ago.

Not really.

And the year before he was 10 of 23 (7.7 ydpa) 2 TDs and 2INTs 43% completions.

In 2022 he only played in blowouts after the other team quit.

Actually, all of his stats were against starting defenses with UGA's second string.

UGA put their backups in when they got huge leads, but they stopped passing when the other team put their backups in.

So Beck's passing stats were to UGA's backups against the opposing starters. He only handed the ball off after the other team threw in the towel by taking out their starters.

Heck, against SC for example his TD pass to UGA's 4th string TE was with 6 minutes left in the third quarter. He came out of the game for the 3rd stringer to come in with 9 minutes left in the game.

I understand that people think that his stats came in garbage time... and it's true in a way. But it wasn't what other teams have as garbage time (last 5 minutes). He came in midway through the 3rd quarter much of the time. The reality is UGA dominated many teams so badly (including ranked teams like SC, Oregon and TCU) that what UGA viewed as garbage time started so early in the 3rd that the opponents couldn't justify sitting their starters yet.

Against some teams that you'd think a backup would get minutes against, he didn't because UGA didn't blow them out. He only had 7 attempts against Samford and didn't throw a pass against Kent State (who kept the game closer than most of UGA's SEC opponents).

In 2021 he was UGA's 3rd string QB (After JT Daniels and Stet). He was playing in garbage time and only against very weak teams (UAB, Charleston Southern and Vandy). He was trying to make the most of his attempts and made bad decisions.

In 2022 he got in earlier in games. He played with the 2's instead of the 3's and he played against starters... and did exceptionally well.

In the end, this won't matter in a couple of weeks. But you do have misconceptions about the situations he played in.

This isn't true, FWIW

We are discussing how ugly he is, not his football stats or gpa.

Didnt you see the word “IF”? It was a legitimate question and I’m still waiting for an answer. I really don’t expect to get one. UT avoids questions like this.
So this hot shot miracle of a QB was allowed to sit on the bench in the pouring rain while UT was struggling and looking more like a jr high program than a so called #1 team? Ahhh those FOUR days of UT glory! Remember them. Y’all are gonna have to live on them for a very long time

That’s great. He can win games and keep the crows outta Sanford Stadium at the same time.

I only responded 'Freudian slip' because you said Milroe instead of Milton.

Beck got better competition against a UGA defense than anything he will encounter this entire season. And he did very very well.
Never seen a crow anywhere near Sanford stadium. I did see a lot of buzzards and vultures when I was in Texas though

This only shows how little attention I pay to him. Can’t remember much about him. I do remember your QB Hooker falling flat on his face in Athens though. And I remember him, not because of anything special that he did, but because his name is Hooker. He sounds like a guy who should be playing for Hugh Freeze at AU.
