When Dave Brown said that the Longhorn Network would broadcast high school football games specifically focusing on players committed to them, including Connor Brewer, the recruit he was referencing from Scottsdale, AZ, that was the final straw.
That was something that ESPN, which owns 100% of the LHN, tried to push through. The NCAA put a quick stop to that, and the LHN has never shown one second of a high school football game.

In my lifetime, A&M leads the series 17-16. (1978-present) In that same timespan, Oklahoma leads the series with you 20-18. That's not "dominating" anyone.
Where to begin with this silly assessment....if you don't find it compelling that, while A&M won its only title before WWII, Texas has won 4 since, so be it. If you don't find it compelling that A&M's only period of success against Texas was marred by severe NCAA violations & penalties, so be it. I'm sure you wear your ladies basketball national championship t-shirt with great pride.

Trying to play the innocent victim in this. That's a new one. There's no way in hell that you can claim that ESPN tried it without your expressed approval and consent.
Of course, we all know that "Texas worst years are better than the best years at a school like Missouri", right Dodds?

The SWC as a whole, even once it broke up, refused to play Arkansas other then SMU.
Much like Arkansas did so long ago A&M and Missouri flipped their floundering conference the bird and moved on to much greener pastures. Texas and Kansas are less then thrilled with this.
Oh they will play again eventually. It took some time to get Texas back on the schedule every now and then for Arkansas. It will take some years and maybe a bowl matchup or two.
Even then it won't become a yearly event. There is just too much bad blood.

Why do people on this board refuse to accept that Kansas doesn't want to play Mizzou and Texas doesn't want to play A&M?
It's not like they are calling up asking either of us to play.
I say a compromise is in order then
TAMU would play KU
MU would play Utx

I'll leave the answer to the Baylor women's basketball coach. Keep in mind Baylor, Texas and A&M were in the same conference for almost exactly 100 years.

Well if it is Baylor and the answer is NO, we now know that means a Baylor "struggle snuggle" or rape comes next. To hell with those cat killin, dog beatin, rapists!
