Oh, ok. LSU is always the favorite, but they will absolutely never win a national title under Brian Kelly, right? It's, like, an absolute certainty. Like, we're completely disqualified as long as he's here, right?

That's right, it's usually the fans that rewrite history.

He is a good coach. Maybe he will get over the hump at LSU.

Hard to win a P5 conference title if you haven’t ever coached in one, no? I was just responding to your post

I find it unlikely. I don't even think he'll win the sec.
But maybe he'll turn it around, finally

You don’t like when people respond directly to your own posts do you? Straw man arguments are so much easier I guess

See this is what I'm saying.
The question is how long does a program like LSU put up with that kind of record without an NC? 5 years?

I don't know what you're trying to say. But every fired coach was the man until he was fired, at which point he was never good.

I’m truly flattered how highly you think of LSU’s program

I think the LSU program is great. Did you not get that from my posts?

Every fanbase thinks they're special snowflakes but we all do the same thing.

I can't believe it! I'm seeing this for the first time, and it's the worst coaching record I've ever seen! Like, ever. Seriously.
What was Scott Woodward thinking?!! GOSH!
ETA: Like, every single coach on absolutely any level has a better record than this.
ETA: He absolutely will not succeed at LSU. Ever. We'll be lucky to win another game!

If you stopped time in mid 2020, gator fans thought Mullen was the next Saban.
Ask one now and they never thought he was good.
LSU fans in 2019 were the same

It’s almost like winning national titles is really hard even for great coaches

Well, he got the opportunity this year.
Do you want to know a dirty little secret as to why Notre Dame joined the ACC in every meaningful sport other than footbal? Spoiler alert, it has 100% to do with having to play in a championship game and possibly losing.
