Can they not leave their degenerate cult activity in Texas where it belongs?

You won’t know we’re having Midnight Yell unless you’re out searching for it; it’s not intended to get in y’all’s way.
The university arranges it months ahead of time at a location that is happy to host us—it isn’t like we crash someone’s private property .

Some of these comments surprise me.
In CSTX, we love hosting visitors—including their traditions.
It’s what makes cfb great.
Not sure why some of y’all are against that; it’s all in good fun!

I personally like the A&M traditions and spirit...they're great for football.

I'm enjoying this thread. I've never seen an opposing fanbase complain about Midnight Yell before. It's educational

We went to the Midnight Yell in College Station when AU played out there in '15. Had a ball. It's a fun tradition.

The game was Jeremy Johnson's crowning achievement as a college QB.

I understand your entire shtick is to hone in on A&M threads and search out A&M photos and memes ...

... but this photo isn’t Midnight Yell Practice. Those are cadet Officers of the Day at a football game. HTH you with your ever-growing gallery of images!

Midnight Yell on the road is lame, unless of course it's in Columbia, SC.

When THAT happens, it's an all out jizzfest at their precious State Capital.

Maybe we can jizz on, over and BETWEEN THE HEDGES this year.

Gay jokes aside, the midnight yell is extremely lame

Agreed.
It’s basically just an opportunity for the various traveling clubs to have a place to convene after drinking for a few hours.
Not my thing, but to each his own.

Bonfire is the only off field/game TAMU tradition I would recommend to a rival fan base.

Taking in a Midnight Yell will either scar you or end up in a uncomfortable confrontation based upon your reaction.

Not sure about the scarring characterization, but Yell definitely isn’t intended for visitors (though they’re certainly welcome).

1) I know midnight yell happens for away games sometimes (I remember the big hubub about it being in columbia), but is it common for it to not be on the campus or even in the same city as the game?

2) Wtf is "outside atlanta"?

It occurs before every home and away game.

No clue at all.
I don’t know the ATL area, so I can’t even speculate.
Away game travel arrangements (including Yell sites) are released at the end of the summer.

I’m headed to the game in Athens this year.
This has been a bucket list item of mine for as long as I can remember.
Cannot wait!

How many schools are going to allow an event for a school they are playing ON THEIR CAMPUS the night before?

That just screams "I have no self-awareness".
