I think this will be a fun season for the Gators. First of all, college football is always fun. If you aren't having fun, you are doing something wrong. Of course, we probably will not be national championship contenders. But we definitely have a shot at winning the East. We'll be underdogs, but there is no reason we can't do it. Beating Georgia and maintaining our dominance over them is a huge goal. Beating Kentucky and extending our streak over them will be important. Pulling off an upset against a highly ranked team is certainly not out of the question, especially at home.
I don't think we'll be great, but I don't think that we'll be so bad that we'll go into any game (even at LSU) feeling hopeless. And the beauty of college football is that, no matter what's happened in the season so far, every game is an event, every game is a battle to be won for it's own sake.

SEC football teams by last losing season:
Georgia: 2010
Tennessee: 2010
Kentucky: 2010
Vanderbilt: 2010
Mississippi: 2010
Miss State: 2009
Auburn: 2008
Arkansas: 2008
Alabama: 2006
South Carolina: 2003
LSU: 1999
Florida: 1979
So there's another great goal to fight for - remaining at the bottom of this list. Even if we lose to all our rivals, we still have a streak to maintain.

Charley Pell was our couach in the 80's when we got on probation. Whatever people want to say about the man is irregardless of who the man was. He was a good guy and was also the fall guy for thn president Marshall Criser. This link will help everyone understand what hell Charley Pell went through... Take the time to watch this.
