If I could go back a few years I could find similar post on bamamag. You guys defended Shula till the end and swore up and down that probation was the only reason he hadn't won an SEC title. Hell I bet 50% of gumps still have a Got Shula shirt stashed in the closet.

How is it not true? Not many would argue that the last 30 years have been some of our worst and some of your best. In that period we have won 2 NC's (1 more than you have period). So you can have the win loss records if you want, but I will take the hardware.

BUT, Mark Green is the biggest psychopath I have ever encountered on the internet.

He just doesn't post hyperbole like that "slave" and "concentration camp" crap. He believes it.

The dude is damaged. And , if what I am hearing is true, in the process of being sued for some of the things he has posted.

bullshite. SEC titles, top 5 rankings, top 10 rankings, head to head, ect, AU has been as good or better my whole life.

So Bama gets lucky and gets voted number 1 a couple of years and may have had the best team in the country 1 or 2 years in my life. Well, AU may have had the best team 3 times in my life (maybe 4 in 1988 - the 1 point loss to LSU kept AU from playing Notre Dame in the SB). So where it counts, on the field, AU> Bama my whole life. And that is how I like it. Not where I have to ask mama and daddy what it used to be like to be better 40 years ago. Course gumps don't care about that. They just like to hear about bullshite titles from before they were even alive.

How in the hell do you think Auburn is superior in academics? Every USNWR has both schools among the top fifty public institutions. Alabama has more National Merit Scholars, while incoming Auburn freshmen have a higher GPA. AU's Engineering program is more highly regarded, while Alabama is nationally recognized for business and law.

Way of life? What the frick does that even mean? Most of the supporters from both programs are from Alabama, or at least the South. I wasn't aware that the cultural aspects varied so much within the South.
