Most Tiger fans are just hoping that LSU keeps it respectable, and Kirby is a gentleman he won’t run up the score. He’s demonstrated that he belongs in the elite conversations. The true test is how he replaces his coordinators as they get hired away to become HC’s
I don't believe you...

Speeding up the game would involve playing to Tennessee’s strong suit. Fundamental football strategy involves slowing down and limiting the possessions of high powered offenses and getting ahead of teams that are low-scoring and primarily defensively oriented. This is why Stoops slowed the game down on Saturday: his offense most likely couldn’t keep up with UGA’s.
Edit: the alternative way of stating this is that you can’t beat a team at their own game. UGA would not beat Tennessee in a boat race; Tennessee would not beat UGA in a defensive struggle with few possessions.
You are looking at this wrong.
It isn't speed. It is efficiency.
Who scores on more drives?
That is who wins the games.
It doesn't matter if there are 7 drives in a game or 20.
Once we have the lead, then we can deflate the football.
