All coaches look for something to motivate their players. Winning 29 straight certainly doesn't come easy and requires various motivational methods to sustain that success.
The post-season brings its own motivation. That said, I'd bet he has reminded them that the last 29 games mean shite to their future goals if they lose today - from 1st to out of the playoffs after 29 straight with a loss. That seems motivating enough.
